Did You Know?

You can pick up and/or print your 2025 tax forms at the Library! Physical copies of Federal Form 1040, Federal Form 1040-SR, and State Form CT-1040 – as well as instructions on how to locate, download, and print other IRS publications – are now available on the right-hand side of the table underneath the Library’s bulletin board upstairs. The Library’s public computers can be used to access forms that are only available digitally; we do not charge patrons printing fees for tax forms.

New on our Read-Alike Shelf (by the public computers upstairs) are LSC Featured Reads – books that have been featured in the Library’s LSC Virtual Author Talks! Bookmarks indicate whether each book features in an upcoming or an archived Talk, along with a QR Code and link to the relevant collection.

If you enjoy a book you find on the display, take the opportunity to learn more about both the book and its author by watching their LSC Author Talk! Featured books for younger readers will also be on display in areas appropriate to their reading level, so keep an eye out for Featured Reads bookmarks when you visit.

Clark Memorial Library is partnering with the Library Speakers Consortium to give our community access to a growing catalog of virtual talks featuring bestselling authors, innovators and influencers, and experts in a variety of fields. Multiple new webinars will be added each month. Patrons can visit the Library’s LCS microsite (libraryc.org/bethanylibrary) to register for upcoming live events – all of which will be recorded and remain available to watch on-demand as well! The archive already includes talks with authors like Kate Quinn (The Diamond Eye), Bonnie Garmus (Lessons in Chemistry), Geraldine Brooks (People of the Book), & Frieda McFadden (The Housemaid).
