Nifty Needlers – Thursdays, 3:00 – 5:00 PM
Bring your latest needlework project and enjoy the company of fellow needlers, or pick up a new skill! We have yarn, knitting needles, and crochet hooks for those who want to learn how to knit or crochet – everyone from needlework novices to experts is welcome. Meetings will take place upstairs, in the Adult Books area to the right of the main desk.
Help us welcome winter by making snowflakes and winter decorations! The Children’s Room will have a crafting area open in the makerspace every day during Library hours from Tuesday, December 3rd through Tuesday, December 31st. Make one decoration for the Library, and one to take home! For all ages.
See Santa & Mrs. Claus at the Library!
Save the date: the Bethany Lions Club will be bringing everyone’s favorite holiday elves to Clark Memorial Library on December 5th, from 4:30 – 6:30 PM. Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and join members of the Lions Club and your local librarians at the makerspace table!
Celebrate Halloween in the Makerspace!
With Halloween on the horizon, we’re offering a whole assortment of spooky crafts in the Makerspace! The goal is to create 7″x9″ knit or crocheted squares that can later be joined together to make blankets of various sizes. This is a perfect way to practice your knitting and/or crochet skills, but no prior experience is needed – we will provide instructions and materials. Drop in on Thursdays between 3:00 to 5:00 PM to take part. Ages 10 and up.
