Rid Litter Day is an annual event meant to foster community involvement in cleaning up Bethany. This year it will take place on April 22, from 9AM – 12PM.
You can sign up to participate on SignupGenius.com; please commit to a road/neighborhood (as individuals or as a group) on the signup sheet. For more information, please email BethanyRidLitterDay@gmail.com. Gloves and bags will be available for pickup at the Library on Friday, April 21, 5:30 – 7:30 PM.

Spring has sprung, and a new storywalk is up at Clark Memorial Library. Take a stroll around the outer edge of the Library’s front lawn and read through When Spring Comes, written by Kevin Henkes and illustrated by Laura Dronzek.
We also have some exciting news: starting Friday, April 14, the Library will be increasing its hours of operation! We will now open at 12:00 PM on Fridays, and close at 5:00 PM as usual. We hope you enjoy these extended hours!
Our Makerspace got plenty of use in March! Here are pictures taken during some of the programs and craft activities we offered – be sure to check the event calendar for chances to take part in even more Maker activities as we move into April.

For all ages. Come explore the Makerspace every Saturday afternoon. Come for a visit and create something! Drop in: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Now that spring is officially here, it’s the perfect time to check out our new Gardening and Crafts display! It’s just outside the Teens & Tweens area upstairs, and includes books on flower and vegetable gardening, landscaping, caring for houseplants, paper-crafts, and many kinds of needlework. Come take a look!

Make sure to check the Library’s Calendar of Events or the Bethany Bulletin each month for the date of the next meeting and the title of the book to be discussed if you are interested in joining.
